My work, as an artist making contemporary paintings, is about looking, looking, looking, and recording the experience of looking as stillness.

You may see the paintings as "lit from within," and while viscerally experiencing beauty of luminous work, also find humor.

Because when you see the painting, which contains a recording of my looking as stillness; you too may begin to look as the very same stillness or essence within you.

The painting has thus become a way for you to see not only beauty, but the interconnectedness of all of life.
